UQ Health Care Meadowbrook is located within the Meadowbrook Shopping Village Shop 8, 259 Loganlea Road Meadowbrook (cnr Edenlea Road).
We are a medical centre for the whole community, with experienced General Practitioners, nurses and other allied health practitioners dedicated to the health care needs of the Logan and southside communities.
We offer innovative, client-focused care through our extensive range of health services which include general practice as well as allied health and specialist health care.

After Hours Service: Please call National Home Doctor Service on 13 74 25 Bulk billed home visits. Available from 4pm weekdays, 10am Saturdays, all day Sunday and public holidays
Appointments: It is advisable to make an appointment, however we will do our best to assist walk in patients within a reasonable time. (We cannot guarantee that you will be seen) Standard appointments are 15 minutes; longer appointments can be obtained on request. Please advise reception at time of booking if you would like a longer appointment. Emergencies and appointments have priority over patients without an appointment. SMS Appointment Reminders will be sent to patients that have provided us with a mobile number.
Telephone Calls: Telephone calls will be answered by reception and where appropriate will be referred to the nurse. To minimise interruptions to consultations you may be asked to leave your contact number and a message for a nurse to return your call at their earliest convenience.
Home Visit: Regular patients of our practice are able to obtain visits in their home, residential aged care facility, residential care facility or hospital, both within and outside normal opening hours where such visits are deemed safe and reasonable. Please contact Reception for more information.
Complaints: We welcome any suggestions/comments to improve our service. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our care, please speak with our Practice Manager or you may put your concerns in writing to the Practice manager also. Recall/Reminder System: Our practice is committed to preventative care; all patients are offered the opportunity of being in a reminder system for a range of clinical conditions. Patients are automatically placed on the national/state reminder systems unless patient indicates otherwise.
Triage: In all cases, please see Reception upon entry to the medical centre. She will assess your needs and check you in. If you are having any of the following, inform the Receptionist without delay.
- Chest Pain
- Difficulty Breathing
- Blurred Vision
- Slurred Speech
Results: Results will not be given over the phone. Please make a follow up appointment with your doctor to discuss results.

Overseas Students: OSHC services are available here for overseas students. (No Gap Payment)
Medical Records: Your medical records are available to you at a minimal cost. Please contact Reception for more information
